Grand Theft Auto VI launches on Thursday, November 19, 2026. From now through November 18 23:59 (UTC), your trading on Katana Perps can pay for your copy.
Introducing the GTA VI Fuel Challenge. Opt in, trade, and fill your tank with Fuel. Every trade brings you closer to unlocking your copy of GTA VI.
Reach 200 Liters (200 L) to unlock the Standard Edition, or keep trading until you reach 250 Liters (250 L) for the Ultimate Edition.
No competing for a limited prize pool. Just fill your tank, hit your milestone, and claim your copy of GTA VI. Every eligible wallet that reaches the milestone qualifies.

Trading volume after the challenge closes doesn't count.
How Fuel Works
Your trading volume generates Fuel, measured in Liters (L). You earn 1 Liter (1 L) for every $2,500 of taker volume or $10,000 of maker volume.
Taker volume generates Fuel at 4x the rate of maker volume. Both contribute to the same tank. Volume is measured single-sided, the same way it is for Katana Perps trading competitions.
Standard Edition ($79.99): 200 L, or $500K taker-only volume, or $2M maker-only volume
Ultimate Edition ($99.99): 250 L, or $625K taker-only volume, or $2.5M maker-only volume
Most traders will fill their tanks with a mix of maker and taker volume. For example, $250K of taker volume (100 L) plus $1M of maker volume (100 L) fills your tank to 200 L, unlocking the Standard Edition.
Fuel continues accumulating while your reward remains unclaimed, even beyond 250 L. However, 250 L is the highest reward milestone. Additional Fuel won't unlock further rewards or game codes. Once you finalize a claim, your reward is locked in.
The number seems big, but if you trade perps, odds are you already do this. To make things simple, that's only 100 trades worth $500 at 10x leverage in taker volume.
How to Join
Go to the GTA VI Fuel Challenge page on Katana Perps.
Connect your wallet and click Opt in.
Sign a message to verify wallet ownership.
Enter your email address, select your console (PS5 or Xbox Series X|S), and choose your region.
Confirm your details and click Join GTA6 Promo.
Important: Use the Same Email as Your Gaming Account
The email address you register with must be the same email associated with the PlayStation Network or Xbox account where you intend to redeem your GTA VI game code.
Before completing registration, verify that your email matches your gaming account, your selected console is correct, and your region matches your gaming account's region. Incorrect information may prevent redemption, and Katana cannot guarantee replacements for codes issued using incorrect information.
Fuel only starts accumulating after you opt in. Trading volume before registration doesn't count, so join before trading.
Katana Perps Competition 13 and Competition 14
The GTA VI Fuel Challenge runs alongside Katana Perps Competitions 13 and 14, but each wallet can only participate in one campaign.
Once a wallet registers for Competition 13 (October 28 to November 11) or Competition 14 (November 11 to 25), it becomes ineligible for the GTA VI Fuel Challenge, even after that competition ends. Likewise, wallets registered for the Fuel Challenge cannot participate in either competition.
Want to participate in both? Use a separate wallet for the GTA VI Fuel Challenge while keeping your existing wallet in the Perps competitions. If your wallet is already registered for a competition, the promo page will show it as ineligible; connect another eligible wallet.
Claim Early or Keep Filling Your Tank
Once your tank reaches 200 L, a Claim button appears.
Claim Standard to finalize your Standard Edition reward and enter the distribution queue. Your reward is then locked and additional trading will not count toward Ultimate.
Or keep filling your tank: don't claim Standard yet, and continue trading until 250 L to unlock the Ultimate Edition.
One edition per wallet: Each eligible wallet can receive only one reward. Once a claim is finalized, the selected edition cannot be upgraded.
After the challenge closes, outstanding rewards, including earned but unclaimed rewards, are reviewed and queued based on each wallet's qualifying edition.
When Codes Go Out
Game codes will be sent by email to the address registered during opt-in, with distribution beginning November 12, the day GTA VI preload opens.
Remember: Your registration email must match the email associated with the PlayStation Network or Xbox account where you intend to redeem the game.
Codes are distributed in batches. Once you claim a reward, it enters review. After verification it is queued for the next batch.
After the challenge closes, any eligible wallet that reached a milestone without finalizing a claim automatically qualifies for its highest reached edition, subject to review.

Share Your Win
Once your tank reaches 200 L, a Share button appears on the promo page. Show off your progress, celebrate unlocking Standard, or keep trading toward Ultimate and share when you hit 250 L.
Rules
Opt-in required: Only post-registration volume counts toward Fuel.
Fuel calculation: 1 L per $2,500 taker volume or $10,000 maker volume, measured single-sided and combined.
Milestones: 200 L unlocks Standard; 250 L unlocks Ultimate; no additional milestones.
One edition per wallet: Finalized Standard claims cannot be upgraded.
Competition exclusivity: Wallets registered for Competitions 13 or 14 cannot participate.
Cutoff: Volume after November 19, 00:00 UTC does not count.
Disqualification: Cheating, loophole exploitation, or manipulation for unfair advantage leads to blacklisting, removal, and reward disqualification.
Registration email: The opt-in email must match the PlayStation Network or Xbox gaming account where redemption is intended.
Console and region: Participants must provide accurate information.
Delivery: Katana isn't responsible for incorrect email, console, or region details entered at opt-in.
Verification: Volume, Fuel, and claims may be reviewed; Katana may correct calculation errors and disqualify ineligible activity.
Codes, Consoles, and Regions
Game codes must match your selected console. PlayStation codes are subject to regional redemption restrictions.
Codes will be sourced from authorized retailers based on the console and region selected during opt-in. Before registering, verify that your email, console, and region match your gaming account. PlayStation users should confirm their PlayStation Network details; Xbox users should confirm their Xbox/Microsoft gaming account details. Your registered email is where your reward code will be delivered and must match the gaming account where you intend to redeem it. Katana cannot guarantee replacement codes for incorrect registration details.
Regional availability: If Katana cannot source a code for the selected console or region, it may instead provide the qualifying edition's equivalent US retail value in USDC on Katana ($79.99 Standard or $99.99 Ultimate) to the opt-in wallet. This does not apply to codes issued from incorrect registration information.
